Tim’s Timber was founded on the desire to see unwanted timber converted into something beautiful, functional and long-lasting.

Tim, himself is a guy who is one of the lucky ones in life, having found a passion and purpose to guide him.  He stumbled upon his passion “Timber” building his first home, and old Queenslander in Townsville and this is where he discovered the rawness and unexplainable magnetism that timber can have upon those who are infected by it.

This discovery has to lead him down many paths including renovating, building, furniture design and manufacturing, sawmilling and processing timber into products like you see here on this website.

Tim has always had a keen eye for the raw material and a vision for its end-use which he has demonstrated by his colourful history and varied projects. It is with this experience that Tim’s Timber has evolved into the current business, it is today.

Tim’s Timber specialises and prides itself on finding and providing recycled, reclaimed and exotic Australian and imported hardwoods to the market. If we don’t have what you are looking for we will endeavour to pre-cure the product from our extensive database of suppliers.  If we can’t do it we will tell you so!

Many of the timbers we deal with are available in regular supply however large section, long length and rare timbers require more lead time if they are to be found at all.
